Jesse Douma - Screenwriting Pro Founder
For Jesse Douma, providing cutting-edge resources to writers and filmmakers has long been a way of life. Over the past 20 years, including 10 as the President of The Writers Store, he's made it his mission to bring straightforward technology solutions to the creative community. The culmination of his work is Screenwriting Pro, a web-based screenplay formatting application for film, television and stage plays.
Living on both coasts until the late 80s, Jesse settled in Los Angeles to be part of the family business, formerly called The Writers Computer Store. Now renamed The Writers Store, he has guided the company to its current position as the premier resource for writers and filmmakers worldwide. Recognizing additional needs within the industry, Jesse also created WritersUniversity.com, a popular online writing school, and StoryLink.com, a successful networking site for writers and filmmakers.
Jesse's passion for creativity extends to his personal life, with photography and cooking being among his pursuits. He's proud to offer this all-in-one scriptwriting software to the film community, and looks forward to developing more innovative tools to help writers write.

San Francisco-based Athena Schultz is an experienced writer specializing in online content. Her knack for bringing a clever twist to even the driest subject matter has brought her accolades from her high-profile clients, including Gap Inc. and National Planning Corporation. As Screenwriting Pro's Editorial Director, she writes for her toughest audience: aspiring and professional writers.
Mario Moreno - Content Advisor
Mario Moreno is a Story Specialist and Instructor for The Writers Store by day, and a budding screenwriter by night (also on his lunch hour). He earned a bachelor's degree in Film from Miami International University, where he won an Outstanding Filmmaker Award for his thesis "The Sellout." Mario has written over a dozen feature film scripts and has pitched executives at Paramount, Warner Brothers, Fox, Disney, Universal and Sony.
Anthony Grieco - Content Advisor
Anthony Grieco is a Story Specialist at The Writers Store, an instructor at Writers University and an emerging Hollywood screenwriter and script consultant. He has a bachelor's degree in Film and English from the University of Toronto and has studied at Circle in the Square Theatre School in New York. Anthony has completed nine feature film scripts, with two optioned and one recently sold.

Dave Trottier has sold or optioned ten scripts and helped countless fellow screenwriters break into Hollywood through his work as an acclaimed script consultant and author of The Screenwriter's Bible, the Industry's de facto spec writing and formatting guide. He also writes a column for Script magazine and hosts keepwriting.com. Dave's expertise made him the ideal choice to create Screenwriting Pro's Industry-standard Screenplay, Sitcom and One-Hour TV Drama templates.

daily on state-of-the-art servers located in a highly-secure facility.
Portland Data Facility
Our servers are co-located with RailsPlayground, a leading hosting provider
that employs a backup and archiving infrastructure utilizing Continuous Data
Protection (CDP) software provided by BBS Technologies, Inc.
Engineered from a structural steel frame, the building has 96 tons of cooling resources, with an exterior designed from thick limestone frieze. Proximity cards are required for building access, with activated biometric scanners preventing unauthorized access to the floorspace. Remote security cameras record all activity in and outside of the facility, and building security will notify local police at the slightest imperfection of entry.
